DAVID FLORES COLLECTIVE

About David Flores

David Flores is well known within the urban arts community for his self proclaimed stained glass style and he is one of the most prolific break out artists in 2008.

A prominent figure in the skateboarding world, David has been involved with and shaped the image of so many brands it can be hard to keep track of. Find a group of skateboarders anywhere in the world; chances are that at least one of them is skating a deck designed by David or rocking a pair of shoes inspired by his art.

In 2007 he spent time working with Kid Robot, XLarge, BLOC28, Oakley DC Shoes and other principal brands in the urban realm. Most recently he teamed up with Medicom and Disney to create a Limited Mickey Mouse vinyl toy with his classic style. His distinct style has been applied to nearly all of the top urban vinyl toy characters from Japan to the United States.

David Flores has consistently proved to be an artist capable of crossing all boundaries and limitations while still being able to produce extremely attractive and unique work.

He has been painting fine art the past 10+ years, it has been incredibly difficult for people to get a hold of his work as he sells pieces as soon as they are completed. The first of the print series features the iconic figures Andy Warhol, Linda Evangelista, and Wu-tang Clan member O.D.B. All of David products available in Japan sell out in no time.
