M-LAB listens : Plushgun

Plushgun is an indie rock/New Wave/Synth-Pop band founded by Dan Ingala located in Brooklyn, New York. The current lineup of the band is Ingala, Taylor Armstrong on guitar and Matt Bogdanow on drums. The band gained prominence when its music was featured in episodes of the web series We need Girlfriends.  After those videos, the band quickly gained an online following.
On May 15, 2008 Plushgun announced a record deal with Tommy Boy Entertainment to release the band's first and self titled vinyl EP, which was released on August 19, 2008.  In a positive review, Orlando Sentinel music critic Jim Abbott wrote that the lead song "Just Impolite" "manages to be breezy and atmospheric" and other tracks "boast plenty of shimmering keyboards, but enough melody to sing along."
Their first album, Pins and Panzers, was released on February 17, 2009. Plushgun was the music label.  OurStage's first artist to get signed by a prominent record Label after Ourstage flew the band out to South By South West music festival where Tommy Boy spotted Plushgun.

01 - Binary Watch

The Story
"My interest is in the future; as I'm going to be spending the rest of my life there“ Charles Kettering

In the year 1998 Anton Kraft had the idea of creating watches that are different from anything else ever seen:
LED Displays and a new time reading system that will revolutionize the watch market. Despite the nonexisting technical resources or opportunities at the time he registered for a legal protection of his ideas.

In 2004 Anton Kraft teamed up with the owners of a production facility in Hong Kong, who brought the technical knowledge required for this journey. Because of the initial time reading system being based on the IT code for all computers - the binary code - with the numbers 0 and 1, the brand name 01THE ONE was born.

In 2005 Time Technology Ltd. Hong Kong was founded and now operates the brand 01THE ONE.
Since then the brand has conquered large parts of Europe, North America and Asia.

And this is just the beginning...
