CASSIUS eyewear collections

Cassius Eyewear is the manifestation of founder Jason Ng. Created as an alternative to luxury branded eyewear, Cassius places systems of harmony and proportion at the centre of it’s design philosophy. This together with the ideology that a logo should be intentionally subtle so that the shape and design of the frames themselves defines the look and feel, rather than the ‘brand’ itself.

Their first range explicitly evokes scale of architectural proportion, the Bauhaus and the warped forms of 20th century structures - capacious and linear, mixing volumes and space. Their decision to launch their first range in the fall of 2008 at the Pool/Magic Tradeshow in Las Vegas, was received with overwhelming interest from overseas buyers; including France, Japan, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States - before launching Cassius in their native New Zealand.

TOYWATCH now in store

"TOYWATCH...has been a runaway hit since their debut."- Kristina Dechter, The New York Times

"Hollywood is obsessed with this Italian-made chronograph wristwatch."- Life & Style Weekly

"Many industry executives say they have not seen this kind of buzz since Swatch premiered its Swiss manufactured watches in 1983."- Womens Wear Daily

In the fall of 2006, Milan-based designer and wristwatch aficionado Marco Mavilla designed the first TOYWATCH. A lightweight, oversized plastic watch, inspired by high design timepieces, TOYWATCH is unexpected, arresting and irreverent.

An anti-luxury statement in a luxury obsessed culture, TOYWATCH has become the "it" wristwatch and the "must-have" item among style influentials and tastemakers. The brand ignited a firestorm in the fashion, design and accessories industries and has been heralded as a sensation by the press. TOYWATCH watches are available in more than 300 fine stores, including Barney's, Henri Bendel, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bloomingdales.
Fans of TOYWATCH include Oprah, Madonna, Sienna Miller, Clive Owen, Jessica Alba, Owen Wilson, Uma Thurman and Katie Holmes.

Now in store.

OBEY Clothing

Since 1989, the Obey street art campaign has become an important urban phenomenon, subconsciously touching those well aware of their environment. Through the vision of Shepard Fairey, Obey has evolved into one of the most controversial yet influential symbols of the 21st century. Derived from Andre the Giant, a pop-culture athlete in the eighties, the Obey icon has been bombed in developed and rural cities around the world. Its ambiguous idea immediately sparks philosophical discussion and ultimately motivates the inner-person through active participation.

With the help of Mike Ternosky and Erin Wignall, Obey Clothing continues to spread Shepard’s message through Men’s and Women’s sportswear fashion and one-of-a-kind accessories. Every designed piece is cleverly thought out, attracting people of all genres and ages, reminding them of the days when "style" was a one syllable word. Men’s and Women’s T’s, sweats, knits, denim, belts, wallets and military inspired jackets and caps are all examples of what we are known for. Season after season, Obey Clothing has progressed into a brand that holds a huge amount of content and depth

Marc wears the ESCAPE from the PLATINUM Collection.

JUDITIA of Scouts of St. Sebastian, you may know her better now as Judy nails of the Guitar Hero fame. She has been a commited exploit of INITIUM since in the early days.

TECHNICS vs MARVEL limited tees

Comic books are no longer for kids or nerds. They are in the club, in the music and on the gears. Embrace your inner hero.

The Technics 1200s are legendary DJ gadgets after all, so when we saw that URBAN SPECIES actually issued a series of tees featuring Marvel characters behind the decks, our various body parts exploded.

Marvel vs Technics combines club culture and superhero chic. They aren't as far apart as some might thing.

The shirts all feature one (at least) of the following Marvel heroes: Spiderman, Hulk, Wolverine, Silver Surfer, Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Britain, Human Torch, Ghost Rider, and Black Panther. They are all engaged in some sort of Technics turntable activity, from spinning to smashing (see Hulk).

The second series of Technics vs Marvel shirts bring two great things together. The limited edition and issue numbered shirts feature Marvel characters acting like badasses with Technics turntables. The price is about US$50 (£25.00).

Word is that there will be a third series soon, so we'll keep an eye out for those. In the meantime, here are all of the Technics vs Marvel shirts currently available with both colors shown.
